Our Commentary

This is a chunky release, and we're seeing Nuxt really push forward. Vite 8 and Rspack 2 are big under-the-hood wins for performance. The experimental SSR streaming mode is intriguing; I'm always looking for ways to squeeze more out of server rendering. The Nuxt 3 EOL isn't a surprise, but it's a firm deadline for those still clinging on. It feels like the team is doing a lot of heavy lifting to make the Nuxt 5 transition as painless as possible, which I appreciate.
