Our Commentary ​

This is a genuinely welcome move from both OpenAI and Anthropic. As someone who maintains subscriptions, getting API credits on top is a fantastic perk. It lowers the barrier to experimentation and might even encourage me to ship some of those public-facing demos I've been meaning to build. It's a smart play to foster ecosystem growth and developer engagement. I just hope these credits don't expire too quickly, because sometimes my side projects take a while to get off the ground!
